Yumita is an absolutely down-to-earth poet who keenly sees life in the Hills from below, at the base, and can feel even the faintest of its pulse. Brushing aside all the reticence she has brought everything into the wide open in the poems. She is truly a poet of Darjeelingian heart and soul. The poems in this book are divided into six Parts, with sub-titles for each Part. The fact that the poet has chosen the sub-title of the second Part as the title of this book itself amply suggests that the voice heard in this Part is the lead voice in the choir of all the poems.
