Divided In five chapters, the book is the outcome of the Ramtanu Lahiri fellowship lectures delivered by Dineshchandra Sen. The book is an essential reading for the scholars of Bengall literature and culture- especially for those interested in the people's literature of pre-colonial Bengal and South Asian intellectual traditions.
